Compusult a Long Time Participant of ATIA Conferences
It's that time of year again! Time when Compusult's AT team bubble wrap their equipment and pack up their belongings. Time for our staff to prepare for an eventful season of promotion. The Assistive Technology Industry Association (ATIA) recently hosted two very popular conferences and tradeshows, ATIA Chicago and ATIA Orlando, both of which Compusult attended.
Compusult is a founding and corporate member of the ATIA. For the past 12 years we’ve attended the ATIA Orlando conference, which provides a forum for all stakeholders in the Assistive Technology (AT) community to learn more about the latest products and developments. The conference also facilitates communication between AT companies like Compusult, government agencies, and educational institutions, and allows us to showcase our products and services. In late October, Compusult attended the ATIA trade show in Chicago. This premier exhibition for the Assistive Technology market is one of the most comprehensive shows for the AT industry, showcasing over 125 exhibitors. Compusult also participated in ATIA Orlando 2011, from January 26-29, which had the largest number attendees in the organization's history. With a final attendance of over 2600 people, 2100 registered attendees, and a showcase of more than 120 companies, ATIA Orlando proved to be once again a very successful event. "It was a great show, with a great deal of traffic and lots of interest in our products" said Leigh Ann Daniels, one of Compusult’s representatives at ATIA Orlando.
Demonstrating our products such as the Jouse2, Caption Display, and Scotty Laptop Tray Systems, provides an ideal platform for Compusult to promote its offerings. ATIA Orlando is one of Compusult's key venues for demonstrating our AT products. The broad geographic representation of attendees from the USA., Canada, China, Japan, Korea, the Middle East and Europe, allows us to easily showcase our products to international markets. "It provides direct contact to target markets, potential distributers, and consumers", said Ms. Daniels. "We get to show people first-hand the benefits of our AT products".
Until ATIA Chicago and Orlando next year, the AT team will be busy with new and enhanced product development, providing support to our customers worldwide, and preparing for upcoming tradeshows and conferences.
