WES Scheduler

The WES Scheduler is used by WES site and data administrators for the purpose of scheduling jobs that must be performed as background processes in support of site and application functionality and workflow.  
 

Overview

Some of the job types configured in the WES Scheduler include:

• search agent discovery and execution;
• metadata harvesting from Legacy/Heritage systems; and,
• system messaging for processing data and data files as they arrive as messages in predesignated directories.

WES Scheduler is a component of Compusult's Web Enterprise Suite; a set of Internet-based applications and toolkits that support Web mapping, information cataloging, discovery, retrieval and delivery services.

WES Scheduler is also a contributor to the Open Geospatial Consortium Catalogue Services Interoperability initiative.
